Nooks · A skill for your agent

Star1

Your favourite
places to be.

Save places worth returning to. Find them when it matters.

Your agent builds a private library of places — cafes, coworking spots, restaurants — organized by city and fully searchable. No app. No account. Just files.

terminal

# Find your places instantly

$ Where can I focus in HK?

→ Blue Bottle Central — good wifi, quiet upper floor before 10am.

$ Save this place — Sightglass Coffee in SoMa SF.

→ Saved. What’s it good for? Focus, catch-ups, or both?

The problem

You know great places.
You just can’t find them.

You’ve been to the cafe with the quiet upstairs, the coworking space that’s actually good, the restaurant you keep meaning to take people to. But when someone asks for a recommendation, you’re searching through your memory.

Google Maps saves are unorganised. Saved posts disappear. Notes apps fill up with half-remembered names and no context.

The places are in your head. None of them are findable.

Your private library

One file per place.
Everything you know,
right where you need it.

Nooks is a skill for your agent that turns the places you know into a private, searchable record — kept on your machine, organized by city, owned by you.

  • Saves places — searches the web to pre-fill what's publicly known, then captures your personal take
  • Finds places — 'where can I focus in HK?' greps your nooks by vibe, features, and purpose
  • Logs over time — dated notes capture how your experience of a place evolves
  • Travels with you — files organized by city so moving between places stays clean

Just ask your agent:

$ "Save this place — Sightglass Coffee in SoMa SF"

$ "Where can I focus in HK?"

$ "Find somewhere quiet with wifi and charging in Singapore"

$ "Add a note to Amber — packed on Friday evenings"

Your agent answers from your own files. No app. No feed. No algorithm.

Your places, your data

Plain files.
Nothing leaves
your machine.

Every nook is a markdown file on your own computer. No cloud sync, no account, no company holding your data. Your agent reads and writes locally — that’s it.

Fully portable Markdown files you can read, edit, back up, or move anywhere. No lock-in.

Personal layer, not public Your notes and assessments are yours alone — not shared with any platform or algorithm.

Part of a bigger picture When your local nooks don't cover a city, Haah can ask your trusted network for recommendations.

Your places stay yours. The skill just makes them findable.

What people say

I've been saving places in Google Maps for years and never look at them. Nooks actually works — I just ask and get an answer.
-Ilya
When a friend asked me for a coffee spot in Singapore, I just asked my agent. Had three good options with context in seconds.
-Arnav
Combined with Peeps it remembers who I was with at each place. My agent now knows my city better than I do.
-Nikhil

Know your places
as well as your people.
